Del Cerro is a community located in eastern San Diego County. It is part of the Navajo Community area and is near the community of San Carlos, La Mesa, and Grantville. Developed in the 60s and 70s, Del Cerro is a suburb which also contains part of Mission Trails Regional Park. Events in Del Cerro include an annual Block Party as well as a Fourth of July celebration held at Del Cerro Park Pool. Schools in Del Cerro include the Phoebe A Hearst Elementary School and the Patrick Henry High School.
